Brief Interventions
Brief Interventions is suitable for a range of public-facing services. It’s designed to give you the skills and confidence to raise the issue of smoking with your clients / patients, using the 3 As (ask, advise, and act).
Bespoke Brief Interventions training can be tailored to the needs of your organisation, and delivered at a time and place which is convenient for you, subject to minimum numbers.
Smokefree Families
Training for frontline staff to become Smokefree Champions.
Providing information on the dangers of secondhand smoke, along with health advice, and help on how to protect children and families from the risks of secondhand smoke.
Intermediate Stop Smoking Advisor training
Training for people who have signed a contract with commissioners to deliver a Stop Smoking Service. This programme provides the underpinning knowledge around smoking and supporting the behaviour change needed to deliver a Stop Smoking Service.
Annual refresher training
An update course for current Stop Smoking Service Advisors, including updates on pharmacotherapy, behaviour change, and relapse prevention.
